					<description>I would like to make known my experience and stop this from happening to others.
 
I was making a transfer on an ATM at a Hong Kong Bank branch on Lyndhurst Terrace this morning (2.5.2008). Just when I was inputting the account number of the transferee, a message came on the screen claiming I entered the wrong account number. I knew that would happen as I heard noise of a person behind trying to work on the machine too. As the screen asked me to reenter the account or cancel, I tried to reenter but the screen just froze. I knocked on the glass door next to me for help because the bank was still shut. The man inside would not come out but pointed to the man behind me saying to let him work on the machine first. 
 
He then pressed the cancel button to let my card out and gave it back to me. The screen then turned immediately to "temporarily out of service". This practice is so rude and selfish. They must be thinking they are the only bank in the world! If any organisation knows anything at all about customer service, they would have let the customer finish with their use of the facilities first before barging in themselves. They can start before anyone else embarks on using it, but should not attempt to intercept in such an uncivilised manner. The man tried to justify that the machine did it itself, and it was just a coincindence that he was behind me and somebody was behind the machine.</description>
